Lincoln’s first-ever indoor crazy golf course opens today (Wednesday, Feb. 9), giving townspeople an exciting new attraction to visit ahead of the February semester.

Urban Putter is a 9 hole course, located in Vulcan Park, George Street and it’s the first of its kind for the city – so we went to try it.

The team behind Urban Putters has already provided exciting opportunities for the people of Lincoln with their ax throwing and escape experiences, also located in the same building.

Each of the 9 holes has its own fun name, related to the design of the individual hole and the game of golf. This includes a “Dude, where’s my par” name on a hole that features a Mini cut in half.

Alongside the course there are a number of great ‘Instagrammable’ picture opportunities including a wall of golf balls which took 3 weeks to build.

Elle Bowmar, team leader at Urban Putters, said she was “really thrilled” to open the attraction to the public this week, after it was originally due to open last summer but was delayed .

She continued, “Finally, Lincoln has a crazy golf course.”

Ms. Bowmar also explained that the course is another bowstring for the team’s list of attractions.

All located in the same area, people who frequent Urban Putters will walk past the Ax Throwing area upon entering the building, giving the venue a strong atmosphere and creating a true location in the city.

Ms Bowmar said: “We’re really excited to have (Urban Putters) open. It’s been a long time coming.

“Finally, we feel like the warehouse is full – for now – with the other activities we have here.”

Urban Putters opens today (Wednesday, February 9) and is open Wednesday through Sunday each week. It is priced at £9 per person for the course. You can find out more here.
