Since the rise of Justin Thomas in the world of golf, he has forged high-profile relationships with some of the biggest icons in the sport in the world.

The 15-time major winner Tiger Woods described Thomas as a brother to himself and a big brother to his son Charlie. We should see this group meet again at the PNC Championship this week.

He was also recently seen on the membership roster of Grove XXIII, a golf club near Hobe Sound, Fla., Produced by basketball legend Michael Jordan.

In September 2020, Thomas exposed his friend Jordan while playing golf with Woods, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose on a special occasion.

This group of four PGA Tour superstars were playing at a charity event to celebrate the opening of Payne’s Valley Golf Course, Woods’ first public course.

All four had microphones on them and Woods, 45, opened the set with a bad tee shot he hung on the left.

As the players walked down the fairway, Tiger glanced to his left in desperation to see if his ball was in play and that’s when Thomas made a serious accusation against Jordan.

“It would be like playing with MJ (if we found that tee shot), ‘I got it, it’s right here. Oh, Tiger, he came out down the fairway.

The 2017 PGA Champion accused Jordan of pulling his ball out of the rough while in tight spots. Could this be true?

If one sticks to Thomas’ inclusion on The Grove XXIII’s roster, it looks like he’s one of the lucky people to have exclusive access to the former Chicago Bulls superstar.

Jordan has always been a golf fanatic. During and after his career he was often photographed on the golf course and also supported the United States Ryder Cup team.

You would like to think Thomas’s comment was just ironic, but who knows? The 14-time PGA Tour winner has clearly played with Jordan before and his competitiveness with the NBA does not appear to have waned.
