JAMES MADDISON saw the funny side when a missed golf shot landed in his backyard.
The Leicester ace and pals were relaxing by the pool, when a rogue golf ball interrupted them from the nearby course.
Rather than making a fuss, however, the footballer couldn’t help but laugh and even helped the budding golfer get back on track.
Maddison, 25, sneered as the embarrassed golfer crossed his garden to retrieve his ball.
The one-time England international tried to help the man find the right line to get back on track.
Maddison was impressed with the eventual strike, commenting, “That’s lovely, that.”
He then wrote on his Insta story: “Good shot my son and he’s back in the game.”
The Foxes midfielder then added: “Bless him. He looked so embarrassed but we’ve all been there!!!”
He then appeared to be sent to Instagram by the golfer, who wrote: ‘Thanks for the line Madders good crack’.
To which Maddison replied, “No problem mate, I don’t know how you finished that far left but brilliant recovery shot.”

The King Power favorite trained at Campus in the Algarve.
Along with his golf adventure, Maddison has also posted from the gym alongside Fulham ace Harrison Reed.
Having not been on international duty, Maddison is already preparing for a pre-season return.
He recently told the club’s website: “On a personal level, last season was very positive for me.
“I contributed to the success of the team and was delighted to score 18 goals and register 12 assists in all competitions.
“I know I can still improve so I will be looking to maintain my numbers and continue to help the team this season.”
